What a privilege it was for Rivonia Premier Lodge to host a group of Yale University students, their professor, and lecturer, for 6 weeks. All the way from New Haven, Connecticut (USA) these young people were on a Yale Summer ‘study abroad’ Session with the focus on Global Health 2022.

The lovely Rivonia Premier Lodge is just a quick 5-10 minute walk to Rivonia village, where you can see anything from Biltong shops to your good old supermarket, Checkers. Since the beginning of our time here, our group has taken countless of walks to Rivonia village—each one a little adventure.

The team at Rivonia Premier Lodge will spoil you with lavish meals daily. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so much dessert haha, but it’s so hard to say no when they’re so incredibly good (10/10 recommend the Malva—shoutout Jamie for getting me hooked :)). Thank you to the wonderful team at Rivonia for taking such good care of us!

The best place to stay in Sandton!!
Was taken care of by the entire Rivonia Premier Lodge staff for 6 weeks while taking a class. I could not have asked for a better place to call home during this trip.
The lodge itself was beautiful and well-kept thanks to the groundskeepers especially Malaki. The food was superb thanks for Trust and John.
Transportation was never an issue with Brian being so reliable. And everything my classmates and professor could have possible needed was provided by Fillitah.
The staff kindness has truly left an impact on me and I will never forget this place.
It was so close to Rivonia village which had two grocery stores and so many restaurants. It is located in a gated community which makes tourists like myself feel very secure. And overall, the experience exceeded my expectations tremendously.
I have so much love for the lodge and the staff who made my experience worthwhile. I will always stay here when I visit South Africa. 10/10 would recommend. 5 stars.
