Here are some Valentine ideas compiled by the staff of Rivonia Premier Lodge.
ONE: Bring your loved one to our lodge for any romantic weekend in February. There is a ‘TWO sleep for the price of ONE Special’, plus a complimentary bottle of wine included over the weekend nearest the 14th. No need to travel to faraway places. TWO: Enjoy long lazy breakfasts overlooking the pool.
THREE: Read a book, sip wine or whisper sweet nothings on the private patio of your luxury room.
FOUR: Take a stroll through our lush, rambling gardens or chill by the pool.
FIVE: Have a bouquet of flowers and/or a gift hamper of goodies delivered to the lodge by Manny of Melrose Stores just up the road. NetFlorist will do exactly the same. A tip though – roses are kept in cold storage for days before Valentine’s Day – so consider buying other flower varieties if you can look past tradition. Very hard to do!
SIX: Book a couple’s massage at the Harmony Wellness Centre Thai Spa in Bevan Rd. right next door to Rivonia Premier Lodge.
SEVEN: Eat out at one of Rivonia’s superb restaurants. There is a big choice to suit every taste and every budget. Explore the cuisines of India, Portugal, Japan, Mexico, Vietnam and Africa – all to be found a 2 minute drive from Rivonia Premier Lodge.
